Spotlight Program LEED Green Associate Exam Preparation The LEED AP credential signifies an advanced depth of knowledge in green building practices; it also reflects the ability to specialize in a particular LEED Rating System. The LEED AP exam is divided into two parts. The first step is the LEED Green Associate exam, which demonstrates general knowledge of green building practices. The second step is a specialty exam (LEEP AP+) based on one of the LEED Rating Systems: Building Design and Construction, Interior Design and Construction, Neighborhood Development, Homes, and Operations and Maintenance. |

Join Dr. Bo Park on June 26 for the latest LEED examination prep program from Illinois State University. Dr. Borinara Park, LEED AP, received his Ph. D. degree in Environmental Design and Planning at Virginia Tech. He is the author of several journal and conference articles in the environmental and sustainability area and a member of USGBC Chicago Chapter, Education/ Research Committee, and LEED for Neighborhood Development Corresponding Committee. At Illinois State University, Dr. Park is a member of Green Team, an advisor of GreenFluence (student club), and coached the students competing at the National LEED competition. He currently teaches a "Sustainable Buildings and Urban Development" course at the university and periodically hosts professional presentations for the community. |
